The Maine Highlands

This is where
the Appalachians begin…

…providing its residents with rolling hills, outdoors life,
and the quintessential Americana setting.

Corbenic is located in the heart of the Highlands,
within a half hour of greater Bangor, also known as the “Queen City”—
so-named because of the Greek Revival and Victorian architecture found there.
Bangor and the surrounding towns along the Penobscot were the setting of
several conflicts during the American Revolution and War of 1812.
Further, the Bangor area is the birthplace of Joshua Chamberlain, the officer at the dramatic stand of Little Round Top during the Battle of Gettysburg.
The city was also the home and is the final resting place of Hannibal Hamlin,
Vice President of the United States under Abraham Lincoln.
